a) 1. In our school we asked different people including our parents,our school chef and store keeper and others and this is what they said:

 

Parents: Climate change is chnaging of season throughout the year like rain seaon changes

Our fellow students: Climate change is the change in environment into desert

Is also a change of climate condition in a longe period of time like 30

years.

2. The possible consequences for our country are

-Land degradation

-Desertification

-Drought

-Eruption of diseased

-Floods

 

b) We think more education about climate change should be given to many people so that they can control the changes in climate.

Women ready to beat Climate change an article by Daily Newspaper of Tanzania of Friday March 20,2009.

a) Direct problems that have been mentioned include decrease in rainfall and more frequent and prolonged droughts that are predicted to occur.

 

b) Solutions proposed include the use chemical free,non-irrigated and organic agriculture as a way of combating climate change.

c)The priority given to these reports is women in agriculture

 

d) The headline caught my eye because agriculture is the back bone of our economy and mostly done by women

e) The headline I will give an article about will be Climate change another African disaster.

The kind of emotion I feel most strongly in connection to the topic of climate change is SYMPATHY beacuse climate change will cause disasters like floods, droughts which may lead to deaths of people, lose of settlements and leaving dependents.

Although there are efforts to stop climate change but still many people are not aware of what really is climate change then this means more education programmes should be introduced especially in developing countries like Tanzania to make people aware of what climate change is.

 

Also I think it is important to publish a lot of journals, articles and educational materials which can be given freely or sold at a very affordable price to enable developing countries citizen to get knowledge about climate change and create awareness.
