Hello ! How are you today ? Actualy we think we are too young to have noticed some climate changes. But we have had some information from people older and they said that the Franche-Comté's climate had changed. In fact, there are some storms during the winter but years ago, there weren't ! Besides, our river, Le Doubs, often change of level in 2 or 3 days whereas in the past it changed in 2 or 3 weeks.

1) For us, the climat change is a question that we ask us everydays. A question which is very important, because it touches every people in the world, whatever the country. Everybody is concerned, because we have to think about our future children and grandchildren !
2) There are a lot of consequences for our country.
The weather, for example, is not the same today. In winter, we can see orages whereas it should be snow! Indeed, we don't have a lot of snow like before.

Our town and region Le Grand Besançon has decided to take action. There is for example the project "200 families" where 200 chosen families improve their life style. I like the idea of Negawatt. Maybe people would have had this idea earlier if they knew what would happen in the future. Negawatt power is the idea of creating incentives to reduce demand for electricity to ease the load at peak times or alleviate the need to build more generation plants. In theory, these negawatts can be aggregated and an arbitrage market could be created to trade these. So, what is a negawatt?
