employee from the cafeteria: " Yes it exists (hahaha) that means that we have less chicken sandwiches! Piranhas are coming. Less water --> the lake becomes bigger"

our comment: his answers aren't serious and they don't make sense. =)

Cook from the cafeteria: " We have to think about what we do. The consequences are that the glaciers melts."

our comment: these are important facts in our country

Student from our class: " The politicians have to talk less and to react more and faster. The glaciers are melting."

our comment: to react is the most important thing!

Woman from the administration: " Polar bears are in danger of extinction! grapes are riping earlier."

our comment: many animals are in danger of extinction!

mother of a student: "A lot has changed since my childhood. The weather changed. Summers are shorter but hotter."

our comment: a few days in summer are too hot and the next day it could be cold.

mother of another student: " Maybe it's just too late to react. Agriculture has bad earnings 'cause the rain is falling harder and destroys our plants."

our comment: Maybe food is becoming scarce.

our comment: Why more sickness?

our comment: this is true!

student:" We mustn't think that we can't do anything because we're a little country. A lot of people think that just people in the USA can change something."

our comment: the organisation in a little country is much easier than in big countries. So in Switzerland it should be easier getting people to react.

teacher: " i think it's a very serious problem. And i try to do as much as I can to reduce CO2 emissions ( I don't own a car). But because I have friends in the US I want to see them and so I have to fly there. The consequences are that I'm worried about the future of the Alps."

our comment: To have no car it's a good advancement.

a) -animals are dying out

b) -parasols in space

-clouds over the sea

-transport of sulphure into the stratosphere

-oceans with iron fertilizer

-water from the depths of the seas

-network for climate information

-use solar energy

-promotion of renewable energies and sustainable use of resources

-more fuel-efficient processes in industry and for energy

 

c) - There is a lot written about victims and the impact of climate change in the newspapers but more could be written directly about climate change and solutions for climate change.

 

d) Now it`s also raining in desert town!! It was impressiv for us because it`s very special when it rains in desert town. And nevertheless we don`t realize how dreadful it really is. And what we have to do against.

 

d) One day we will go under in our own dirt!

a.) anger: I think of all the people who cut down the rainforest, throwing exhaust fumes into the air and wasting energy.

 

Responsibility: Everyone has responsibility to do something about climate change. This concerns everybody.

 

Hope: As long as there is a group of people, even if it still so small, there is hope of changing the climate and contributing ro a better enviroment.

 

Indifference: Many people are indifferent with regard to this issue because they are not affected. However, they do not think of their children who have to suffer from their parents' mstakes.

 

 

b.) Our strongest feeling is anger, because we have to see how other people are recklessly destroying the earth, and we lern a lot from the climate change and how we can fight against it, while we are trying with our project to help preserve the earth in front of a climate catastrophe.

No there is not really a program that teaches young people about climate change. But there are organizations in which you can do something for nature and so also for the environment. In school, it is a current topic of conversation.

I would introduce car-free Sundays, in which public transport, ambulances, police cars and fire engines are alowed to circulate. This project already existed a long time ago, it was unfortunately abandoned. Or who consumes too much electricity / waste shall pay a fine for exceeding a limit.
