Despite the fact that students are doing their end of year exams,it did not substantially affect the starting of our school container gardens project. Most interesting is the students eagerness to learn and take on the responsibility of teaching the community about climate change most especially mitigation and adaptation. This project does not only stop at making the garden inside the school but also we are targeting slum communities that are located near the school. We shall be able to take some of the trees that we planted in our seed beds to the neighbourhood to further climate education.
