World environment day reminds us of the fact that the greatest asset we have is our environment and nothing else . On this occasion we along with Tibetan Welfare Department organised a painting competition in our school for the senior section students from class nine to twelve . Around 30 students took part in the competition . The theme of the competition was " EARTH IN 22nd CENTURY" . The participating students with different mentality drew on different aspects , where as some saw the positive impacts like use od renewable sources of energy in about hundred years whereas others predicted the dangerous consequences human greed on our environment . On the whole it reminded them of the grave challenges our mother earth is facing right now .
