You\'ll never believe us but...

Class: Colegio Cooperativo San Felipe | By: Gisselle

San Felipe School has been declared in quarantine due to the AH1N1 flu epidemia. Yes, some of our school friends traveled abroad and might have brought the virus here. So by now we reamin at home. We'll try to post some things thought. Right now situation is our country, Peru, is quite turbulent. There have been several political actions that have come now into a huge conflict with native communities from our jungle. You'll see, there are some laws that were planned to be release to forest and protection but the government didn't consult native communities about it. By law it is a must to consult every stakeholder that might be involved in a new law project, and all forests are the living place of these communities. Making long story short, yesterday there was a conflict between polices forces and the natives, they had an averange 5hr fight. There are many dead people and several injured. Right now situation here is a uncertain. But, as in many conflicts, responsabilities are shared, an both parties (government and native communities) didn't had to get into fight. I'll tell you more later! I hope everything is all right in your countries.
