TCV School,no more a paradise education centre

Class: Upper Tibetan Children's Village School | By: shakya

TCV school, the head of all tcv schools,is one of the most beautiful Education Centre  in whole India with an altitude of 3200ft above the sea level,it is famous for it's picturesque sitescenes, silent lakes, pleasant Asian Health Resort hotal and restaurant aorund the dal lake and mountain views.
While nature has been kind to tcv school, students proved cruel.A section os student as well as administration proved cruel against nature, causing harm to landscopes, greenery and shores.they have no spared roads,lanes,bye-lanes,river banks, parks and even gardens.

Famous tourist resort like school temple and the sacred dal lake are being dumped by garbages by students.

The constant traffic with it's noise and exhaust fumes, the filt in certain areas and the constant encroachments are destroying the charm of tcv school.
If we start from what is known as the fashionable area of tcv school, right from the school head office and the canteen road, from tuck shop to garbage shed, one can find dirt and garbage dumps everywhere, besides encroachments.Urinals on the roadside spreading foul smell and rainwater, which has no outlet, worsen the situation.
The administration has not provided even a dustbin on vital points and has not developed the culture of throwing waste material on a particular place.Srinagar municipality has, instead, made many spots in school as dumping ground.
The parks are not being maintain. They have been just kept for nusery purposes for catering to the bungalows and lawns of the  higher-ups.

The condition of roads in this education centre is miserable. You can see ponds and pools with dirty water increasing the rate of accidents and creating hurdles. No doubt, crores of rupees are being spent for it's development and repairs, but just on papers. This particular school  and the whole campus is general will lose it's charm and attraction if attention is not paid by the people at the helm of affairs without wasting much time!

«It's a pity that people don't care about our nature.. I mean, if all people around the world would love what they see everyday, or at least love the world they're living in, it would be much easier to stop the climate change.. It's true that we (Evelyne and I) feel sometimes a little bit helpless.. What can we do to make that people love the world? I think it's much easier than we often expect.. How about plant a beautiful tree? Or offer your neighbour little flower?Let's hope that the world won't ignore the nature... Otherwise it'll be too late..Love Carole and Evelyne» Switzerland
