Hi i am Passang Tsekeyof Upper Tibetans ChildrensVillage . Thanks for your valuable concern.I agree with you .The world is running short of time to save our planet from global warming. It is now or never. Each responsible man on this earth should do something to stop the looming ecological disaster. Here I wish to share a heartening news from India, state of Uttarakhand. I have come across a man who is nicknamed as Tree man. He has been planting tree for the last 50 years. By now he has already planted five hundred thousand trees - mainly Oak, cedar, Rodendendron and fruit trees. He did this after his dear father passed away suddenly in his early life to forget the pangs of separation. He treat the trees like his children and does not plant trees during night. He says that planting trees in the night will disturb the sleep of other trees. He now has grown a whole jungle singlehandedly and the villagers think that he is a mad man to do such a hard work without any personal gains. His ultimate wish is to be buried in his own forest and plant a sapling on his grave. He also pray hard to be reborn fast so that he can go on planting trees. In case we motivate and bring awareness about the global warming in the people in the world, even a single sincere person can make difference in the world.
