Launching a campaign to save Mountain Kilimanjaro

Class: Liverpool High School (3) | By: Rutta Evodius

Hi Tina and friends from Liverpool,

we are looking forward to get to know you! And we'd like to know what you think about our project idea:

Kilimanjaro Mountain is Africa’s tallest mountain, with an elevation of 5895 meters, and the largest free standing mountain in the world. The mountain is rich in diversity flora and fauna species and its natural snow makes it one of the world’s most attractive natural heritages. It has been reported that Mountain Kilimanjaro glaciers have shrunk by more than 80 percent over the past century and scientists are predicting that Kilimanjaro ice cap could disappear by 2020.

We plan to start a campaign to save Mountain Kilimanjaro. How could you guys get involved? Is that something you are interested in? It would be great if you would help us with your ideas! With your involvement! We need your support! Let's do something together!

Please write a comment! We will be checking this site every day - eagerly waiting for your answer.

Greetings from Cornelius Girls School Academy Secondary School
