Hello everyone =) Today I want to write about a special Day we, students of the last year, had. On Saturday a special ceremony was held by the students of 4th year to the students of the last year (5th grade of high school). The 4th year students prepared a meaningful play in which they encouraged us to remain together as brothers. After that, we (the last year students) made them a party because we are thankful to them for the beautiful moment they gave to us. It was an incredible day. I will never forget it. We felt as a family, despite we didn't know each other completely. This is what we call the America Family. (America because of the name of my school). Have a nice day =) Giuseppe Garibotto

On Monday we had another meeting to arrange everyone's responsibilities with this proyect. There were some friends that have not been answering the questions they should because off their account: they didn't know their passwords. We are trying to keep up with all the schools involved in this proyect. Today we are going to discuss about the proyect we are going to make. Now everyone in my class has their own responsibility and the one who doesn't agree to help will be invited out of this activity. Science week

Hello everyone =) This week everyone has been very busy. It's the science week, after all. Students from all classes are able to present a project in wich they can show everyone how to reach a physic's law. In my project, I showed everyone that there are many objects that can float, and others can sink. Why? Because of their density. For example, an iron bar will sink, but a boat will float. How's that? The boat may be very heavy, but it occupies a loooooong space. And, as we know, density is the result of dividing the mass of an object with it's volume. If the density is heavier than the water's one, it will sink. If the density is lighter than the water's one, it will float. This is called the Arquimedes's principe. Tomorrow I will post another projects that were shown, with some photographs. Take care everyone =)

Good morning everyone =) I'm sorry for not having posted any news this week. I've been very busy working in my class's assembly. We are going to present a play about how Cristobal Colón discovered America. I will be the protagonist, that is why I had to stay after classes all these days. Hey there everyone =) It's been a long time since we last wrote something about our activities. Well, we have been organizing our proyects every Thursday. From October the 5th until October 9th, we, the students of fifth grade Highchool went to our class trip. We went to a place called Huaraz, were we could witness with our own eyes how the Global Warming is affecting every zone. Huaraz was known because off it's white snow peaks. Now, after some years since I had last gone there, I could see that there's almost no snow left in Pastoruri, the snow peak that was openned to tourists, and now is totally closed. In internet I read that this mountain lost like 40% of it's snow during the last decade. That's awfull, because if Global Warming doesn't stop now, what kind of world will be left for us? I know we ought to do something to prevent everyone from polluting the air. Maybe it's the economic competence between countries that is having the world harm. The question now is, what can we do about it? Let's Change the World ^^ P.S: In the picture I've uploaded you can see how Pastoruri has changed. A lot in the last years.

Hi again!!!!!!!! On Friday, October 4th were the Olympic Games in our school. We had swimming competitions and competitions of running too. It was very exciting because we had competitions of cheerleadering between proms, so everyone was jumping and singing with enthusiasm. We had to go to a special stadium so everyone went to school a little bit early. The stadium was about 30 minutes from school, but when we left, we left later.. and we arrived to school at 4:15 pm! (Our dismissal is at 3 pm) and our school mobilities were waiting a little bit angry. That’s all for now (: we keep working with all the activities in order to save our planet! :) bye

Hi again… According to our school activities, the most recent activity we’ve had at school was our famous marathon. It was the last Friday 25^th. It was an awesome race because the participants were from 7^th to 11^th grade (high school). The winner, for second time, was a student from 11^th. His name is Ricardo Nuñez and he is very famous because he is almost a professional runner. Another recent thing was also on Friday 25^th. We celebrate the youth’s day. We were allowed to come to school without uniform. It was great. That day, a photographer took a big picture of all high school. The five grades sat down on the schoolyard and we smiled together. Well, bye… next time, we’re gonna tell you more about other important things that may happen here at America Callao High School.

Hey :)! We're all excited to know that we're part of this excellent project. It's important to take care of our world, because of all the damage we have made to it. We have to keep going with this in order to motivate other people and make them see all the horrible things are happening… it’s the only way we can save our world. Our group is with students of 9^th, 10^th and 11^th grade. We were divided in two groups in order to finish our assignments from this project (for example the interviews) and now we are going to make special bulletin boards to inform people about us. (These bulletin boards will be exposed in the hall so all the students will see them). We know if we’re all together, we can :) !
