Hello Edith, thank you very much for the introduction, and good luck for the tree planting action!

Before saying the negatives concerning my environment, I would like to appreciate it first. This is because so far it is the only school I have seen with very many trees and flowers around. It is marvelous. The workers there also make sure that they are in shape. And this is thanks to my Biology teacher, Mrs. Njuguna, who has really contributed all her efforts to saving the environment, along with the help of other collegues. They have planted a lot of trees and flowers which keep a gaseous balance of our atmosphere.
You see aorund the basketball pitch there are no trees. One might see it as a minor problem but not. It is a major one. Everytime there are tornaments in Menengai, the visitors and those at home ie the locals, leave out of school with horrible sunburns. Why? We don't have trees to minimize the amount of sunlight reaching our bodies. Believe you me, this is a big problem because the harmful ultra-violet rays from the scorching sun causes skin cancer, which can really eat you away slowly by slowly. So my idea is to plant trees arount the basketball pitch so that even if it doesn't help me i t would help the future baketball players and that will myke me very happy. I hope to fulfill it soon. That's all I had to tell you becaus it is just an introduction. I am really looking forward to working with you and other students all over the world to save our environment. You never know! One day you'll hear that this club has come up with a suitable solution to reduce global warming which is now a universal problem. Anyway, thank you so much for listening.
