Concerning answer b): It's maybe a bit too hard to reduce every crisis to greed. As additional causes for the problem of climate change I would add ignorance and lacking infrastructure - in the past and today. Many people were not informed well about climate change, and sometimes you just need a certain infrastructure such as public transport to protect the planet. That's why the combination of education and the development of better infrastructures is so important.
