1.The climate change

2.The possible consequences for your country - and take note of the answers.

 

b) What do yout think about these answers?

What kind of direct problems have been mentioned?

• The water is running away and the species in danger of extinction are going to extinct.

• The level of the seas is increasing

• The contamination of air kills 2 millions of people per year.

• Diseases would increase, like malaria, cholera, hipertermia.

• The worlds temperature would increase by 3 Celsius.

• Droughts, high precipitations

• In the south there is war for the water

• Melting of ice

• Deforestation of the Amazon

 

Solutions to the problems

 

• To plant one thousand million trees in the world

• Mexico has already plant the 25% in its country.

• Reduce the use of cars.

• Use other materials other than wood (killing the Amazon)

• Have a bath the quicker we can no to lose water.

• Do not waste water

• A percentage of the profits in mining should be reinvested in programs of decontamination

• Give prizes to schools, public office, private companies and council. The price would be an “ecoefficient prize” they see how they treat the water, save energy, recycle solid wastes.
