1. The climate change:
Nice question. I don't think it is a realistic option to be "against" globalization, as it is an unstoppable force powered by advancing technology and the aspirations of ordinary people. I believe those of us who have concerns about equality and justice need to use our voices to influence the direction that globalization takes. Turning the clock back is not an option.
2. The possible consequences for your country – and take not of the answers.
U.S.A.The U.S.A. has already suffered as a possible direct result of climate change. Hurricane Katrina all but destroyed the developed city of New Orleans. The frequency and intensity of storms that are hitting the U.S. could increase if temperatures rise. The effect of climate change on the U.S. will be varied due to the huge variation of climates across the country. In a country prone to hurricanes, tornadoes, droughts and extreme cold spells, it is safe to say that despite the U.S. administrations willingness to tackle climate change, they suffer the consequences as intensely as any other nation.
My opinion:
I think climate change can’t be stopped by humans. You can only make the process slower. The globalization will be coming.
In the last years the weather had changed. Hurricanes and other natural disaster become stronger. But I think it is difficult to say what the possible consequences are.
- Jeannine:
1. Climate change is any long-term change in the statistics of weather over periods of time that ange from decades to millions of years.
2. The temperatures are rising and so the sea level is too high.
I think, climate change is very important and we should think about it. And we should take it serious problem and we should try to implement solutions, for example with renewable energy resources.

a) Answers from a person:
1. “You don’t have to have hysteria, that’s pointless.
A lot of people use the climate change for manipulation and rip-off. I think the real problem is the rising population and not the CO2 emission, but the most politician ignore that.”
2. “Here in Switzerland we feel the climate change through the melting of glaciers and a lot of rainfall and because of that more floods, which destroy a lot of homes!”
b) Towards the consequences for our country, I have the same opinion.
Towards the climate change I think we have to do something! Also against the CO2 emission! But the population is surely also a big problem, which we can’t ignore. But what can we do against that problem?
Hysteria isn’t the right way, that’s right, but we have to study the climate change and do something useful! We have to think self and not believe anything the politician say.
- Marjana:
1. Opinion about the climate change:
The first calculations of the effect of burning fossil fuel on the world's climate were made more than a hundred years ago. They suggested that the average temperature of the Earth would rise a degree or more because extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere would act rather like a blanket and reduce the normal cooling of the Earth's surface. At the time people viewed the change in a very positive way.Since then, and particularly over the past 25 years, an extensive and highly planned international research effort has attempted to translate the broad prediction of global warming to a more detailed assessment of the likely change of climate of individual regions. The effort taught us a lot about the workings of the earth-atmosphere system, and returned us a lot in terms of new technology.Nevertheless, this massive effort has yet to provide us with reliable forecasts of climate change. The science of climate change is plagued by uncertainty. At least part of that uncertainty, and perhaps most of it, will never be resolved.
Personal opinion:I think the climate change is getting a very big problem if we don’t do anything about it. We possess just one Earth and it’s extremely important to take care of it! We have to change our habits to help each other. The change must take place by us, otherwise there’s no other solution to share the world. I suppose it’s not just a phantasm, it happens the whole day long. Our world changes in a way, we probably don’t imagine and sooner or later we can control it no more.
2. Consequences for Switzerland based on the Climate Change until 2050
The report describes mean vulnerabilities of the environment, the economy and the society in
Switzerland with regard to climate change until the year 2050. Based on a regional climate
model potential impacts on various subject areas like for example water supply, agriculture
or tourism are presented. Different measures and adaptation strategies are discussed. All
projections for the future are based on assessments of today’s knowledge.
Climate change
With regard to precipitation in winter an increase of about 10% is expected. In summer a
decrease of about 20% can be assumed. In summer heat waves will generally increase, and probably droughts as well. In contrast, in winter cold spells will decrease.
Impact on tourism
In winter the rising snow line means that ski resorts in the foothills of the Alps may not
operate profitably anymore. Ski resorts situated at high elevations may benefit. With the
increasing threat of traffic routes by extreme events the accessibility of tourist resorts in the
Alps becomes more difficult. The attractiveness of alpine tourist areas will also be influenced
by the decreasing snow reliability and the expected changes in the natural scenery, in
particular the retreat of glaciers
Melting permafrost means a costly risk for a number of mountain railways, as at higher
elevations the foundations of masts and stations are often anchored in the frozen loose stone.
The risk of rock slides increases as well. In order to maintain the attractiveness of tourist
destinations, the offer needs to be adjusted to new conditions.
Conclusions
>From today’s perspective the consequences of climate change until 2050 seem to be
manageable in Switzerland without severe societal problems, provided that the warming does
not exceed the expected magnitude. To this day, however, there are no precise estimates of
the costs for the adaptations and measures mentioned, which, for some fields, may be of
economic relevance. In particular, the tourism sector will have to face drastic changes.
Having said that, there are many countries in the world, in particular developing countries
which, on the one hand, are hit by more serious consequences and, on the other hand, do not
dispose of the financial resources to adapt. The emerging geopolitical developments may well
have consequences on Switzerland.

Opinion from a person:
It can only be for good. Although some countries may lose some of their culture but others will assimilate good things and we hope disregard the bad.
Technology makes it impossible for us not to be Globalised, the knowledge of the world around us and its people and the acceptance of our similarities as well as our differences, must be a good thing, In my opinion.
International scientific consensus agrees that increasing levels of man-made greenhouse gases are leading to global climate change. Possible consequences of climate change include rising temperatures, changing sea levels, and impacts on global weather. These changes could have serious impacts on the world's organisms and on the lives of millions of people, especially those living in areas vulnerable to extreme natural conditions such as flooding and drought.
My opinion:
I agree with these sentences. I think the government should more support protects about climate change. And I think it is a great problem.

01. Interview
1. The climate change
People ask "is it clear that human activity is directly responsible for climate change?" The context for answering this question must be another question: to what extent can the climate change all by itself?
The answer to the alternative question is: "a very great deal." Modern human beings appeared some time after about 50,000 years ago, and even then, anthropologists tell us that their numbers were very small until about 4000 years ago. Nonetheless, taking a cautious view, one might only examine climate change prior to 100,000 years ago.

1. The meaning of a person was that global warming as shown in the movie„An Inconvenient truth“ and he thinks it is a very serious topic.
He made some thoughts about the CO2. He thinks it is very important, that we reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere.
2. He thinks that the possible consequences for his country is that there could come a new ice age.
1. I think, that the climate change will change a lot of things and the humans have to think as early as possible about the consequences. I think that in the next 20-30 years the CO2 emissions won’t be reduced. So we have to minimise the addiction to ancient energies and be prepared for the change.
2.I think that the weather might change.
- Cédric:
1. He thinks that we have to do more for our climatic. He always goes to work by bicycle. This topic is very important for him and he uses the example that he’s afraid that one’s we will not have white Christmas anymore.
2. He is very optimistic that when all in the EU will make till 2020 less CO2 emissions. and he is sure this is a signal for the whole world.
b) I think that he’s a little bit too extreme when he says that he is afraid about snowless Christmas. But I agree whit him that, if all realize to reduce the CO2 emissions were on a good way. But I’m not as optimistic as him that this will be so soon.
- Dino:
a)
1.)
The climate change isn`t funny. The climate change destroys our world. We`ve to do something.
2.) In Switzerland we have a lot of glaciers. When this glaciers melt, we will go under especially the dutch. Everyone in Switzerland should have solar cells.
b)
I think that the person knows a lot about the climate change. This person was very interested in our environment.
1.)
We should buy the right things to preserve our world.
2.)
In Switzerland we have a lot of rich people who aren’t interested how ecological the things are prepared.
b)
I have the same meaning like this person.
