b) What do yout think about these answers?

Hello ! How are you today ? Actualy we think we are too young to have noticed some climate changes. But we have had some information from people older and they said that the Franche-Comté's climate had changed. In fact, there are some storms during the winter but years ago, there weren't ! Besides, our river, Le Doubs, often change of level in 2 or 3 days whereas in the past it changed in 2 or 3 weeks.

1) For us, the climat change is a question that we ask us everydays. A question which is very important, because it touches every people in the world, whatever the country. Everybody is concerned, because we have to think about our future children and grandchildren !

2) There are a lot of consequences for our country.

The weather, for example, is not the same today. In winter, we can see orages whereas it should be snow! Indeed, we don't have a lot of snow like before.

Sarkozy reportedly stated that the ”challenge of a world agreement on climate change must be met.” Following the meeting at the Elysee Palace, Pachauri said the French president was committed to pursuing a green agenda and “really wants to do something in this area.” “He would like to see that Copenhagen is a success and he is going to work with the others leaders to do that,” said Pachauri.

It is true that Sarkozy has called on President Obama in recent months to follow the EU in the climate change arena.

Do you think that you are concerned of the climatechange, too?

Our town and region Le Grand Besançon has decided to take action. There is for example the project "200 families" where 200 chosen families improve their life style. Our town has within 25 years reduced the energy consumption by 40%. We could list multiple innovations. Our municipal pool for example is heated with solar energy.
