Our Question: Magic Johnson said: “I believe in the power of heroes. What is a hero? There are as many different answers to that question as there are people in the world, and that’s a good thing: we need different kinds of role models for different kinds of people. I personally think a hero is a leader who has a positive impact on people. A hero is someone who acts and through those actions changes the world.” – Tell me your definition of a hero.

Our Question: A group of students thought it would be great to collect portraits of climate heros from all over the world. That’s what they say: “If we show people that if those local climate heros can make the effort, then anybody can. Let them see that what they are doing is rapidly becoming the norm, not the exception. Your climate heros don’t need to be famous. We’d like to show people just like you and me – with the little difference that they care. The goal is to realize an impressive exhibition of portraits from all over the world.” a) What are the most important things people in your country need to change in order to become climate heros? b) Some participants of this projects don’t like the word “hero”. Which other words could we use instead?

Our Answer: If i could choose anyone in the world to be my special climate hero or role model,then it would surely be Algore whose documentary film on the "Global Warming" was an eye opening to me regarding the ongoing climate change. Tenzin Dhonden XII Science"C" (P.C.B) In my eyes, the climate hero is "H.H THE DALAI LAMA". Tenzin Lodhen XII Science "A" If i were to choose a climate hero, then i will choose everypeople on this world,the reason is that each and every individual on this world has ability to do for their own home land.Each individual is responsible for it as we live.Each person should think what you can do for your world rather than thinking what world can do for you. Pema Lhatso XII Science "c" if i have the ooportunity to choose anyone in the world to be climate hero or role model then i would choose Madam Wangari Maathai who was the first woman to win the nobel peace prize in Africa . i love her dedication towards our mother earth and her contribution towards environment wild life and natural resources Kelsang Tsomo ..XII Sc. c

Our Answer: According to me,hero is someone who leaves positive impact on people as said by Magic Johnson and encourages and give stroke to the common people to change for betterment for everyone. Tenzin Dhonden XII Science 'C'(P.C.B) For me, hero means a leader like"H.H THE DALAI LAMA "who has positive mind and gives respects to everyone and gets respect from everyone,and take responsibility of the world. Our Answer: a) The most important things people in my country need to change in order to become climate heroes is that we need to think in a broader sense like maintaining the natural environment and resources in and around our school or home premises rather than just concerning about our houses and area alone. b)Instead of "hero",i would like to use the word "leader" as we are trying to lead the common people to more eco-friendly and natural climatic earth. Tenzin Dhonden XII Science "C" (P.C.B) a)The most important thing that our country need to change inorder to become climate hero are: -Stop the migration of Chinese from China. -Stop the deforestation and transportation of forest. -Stop the construction of industries and factories etc. b)Instead of hero,its better to use the word"Iconic of Climate". Tenzin Lodhen XII Science "A" a) inorder to become climate heroes,what we need is to make the local people know the condition of world that they live. make them aware on climate and about the air they brreath. b)yes,for me i even don't like the word "hero" because it sounds selfish. instead of "hero"we can use "nature saver" or any other like "eco-nature-leader".
