«Now the new world climate conference, held by the IPCC, will be in few months (december) in Copenhagen. What do you think we can do to for that moment? what can we expect from that conference?»
The questions we asked

- Our Question: a) Ask ten people what they think about: 1.The climate change 2.The possible consequences for your country - and take note of the answers. b) What do yout think about these answers?
- 02. Search the local newspapers of your country for articles about climate change.
- Our Question: a) What kind of direct problems have been mentioned? b) What solutions have been proposed? c) What priority have these reports about climate change been given in the newspapers in your country? d) Which headline caught your eye and impressed you the most? Explain the reason why. e) Which headline would you give an article about climat change?
- 03. The topic of climate change arouses a number of strong emotions in people.
- Our Question: a) Write down your emotional feelings for the words “anger, responsibility, hope and indifference” in connection with the topic of climate change. b) Which kind of emotion do you feel most strongly in connection with the topic of climate change? (This does not have to be one of the four mentioned above). Explain the reasons why.
The answers we gave
- 01. Interview
- Our Answer: Well.. I only interviewed people of my family because Im in my house, and all said the same. They think that the climate change is so bad, the summer is lengthening, on the day it is hot and the cold night long ago, when we go to the beach we have to use a lot of sunscreen and things like that. The consequences for our country could be catastrophic, because we could be without water, without snow in Huaraz, without trees in Amazonas and all the capital contaminated by the smog of the cars and manufactures, the garbage and the use of aerosol and other toxic gases. Well, I think that we must think about The Earth because is our planet and our house, we have to take care of it and dont litter it. We have to recycle (plastic, paper, glass and metal),afforest and take care of water and electricity to save the planet. Carlos Noriega
